As some of you may know. I am a full-time Zumba instructor. One of the services I offer is Zumba on the Go. I bring the music, instructions and equipment to any home, school, work place, business, church, etc.
A company by the name of PMSI hired me to do a 4 week Zumba program for there health awareness month. They have 2 locations in the Tampa Bay area. I've been traveling every week to both locations to conduct Zumba classes with the ladies there. So I've been super busy because not only do I have to travel to both PMSI locations but I also have my regular schedule with various classes that I teach at different locations. My experience at PMSI have been super fun and the ladies love the Zumba classes.
2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion, or scallion
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 teaspoon finely chopped peeled fresh ginger
1/4 teaspoon kosher or sea salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil, or canola oil
4 tablespoons Green Goddess Sauce, (recipe follows)
With a large chef’s knife, chop salmon using quick, even, straight-up-and-down motions (do not rock the knife through the fish or it will turn mushy) until you have a mass of roughly 1/4-inch pieces. Transfer to large bowl and gently stir in onion (or scallion), cilantro, ginger, salt and pepper, being careful not to overmix. Divide the mixture into 4 patties, about 1 inch thick. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes (or up to 2 hours) before cooking.
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the burgers and cook until browned on both sides and just cooked through, 4 to 6 minutes total. Serve with 1 tablespoon Green Goddess Sauce each.

One of the YMCA's that I currently teach at hosted a CX30 Master class and I loved it. The core is a problem area for most people. With this workout the core won't be a problem anymore. I loved the demonstration so much that I decided that I want to get certified also. I will be officially certified to teach CX30 in June. Yayyy :D
I'm always looking for new ways to workout. I stumbled on this awesome 30 day plan on exercisetv.tv. I started this new workout plan on April 11th and I love it. As a full-time fitness instructor I'm always on the go. I do mostly cardio workouts such as Zumba. So doing something different is always exciting for me. Try it out and see if it works for you.
Today I decided to take another shot at a twist out. I've tried doing this style before but I was never satisfied with the outcome. Since today was wash day, I started out with freshly washed hair. Using Kinky Curly Curling Custard I did about 20 twists.
After the twist dried I separated each twist 3 to 4 times. Here are my results:
Product Description:CURLING CUSTARD TM gives moisture and curl definition, hold and brilliant shiny hair all in one product!
It reduces bulk, defines & elongates your curls helping them to 'hang' better. CURLING CUSTARD TM will bring out the natural curl or wave pattern you never knew you had!
It is an advanced botanical formula made with ALL NATURAL ingredients that nourish and strengthen the hair. Utilizing the humectant properties of the Agave Nectar, CURLING CUSTARD TM will give weight to your hair, define your curls, remove frizz, provide long lasting hold and shine without ever being greasy, crunchy or drying to your hair.
This high performance product is very concentrated so a little goes a long way.
**TIP- This product is designed to work alone but ultimate curl definition and length can be achieved when used with KNOT TODAY TM as a leave in conditioner.
For best results apply CURLING CUSTARD TM to soaking wet, freshly washed hair. For very kinky and tightly coiled hair use KNOT TODAY TM as a leave-in conditioner then apply CURLING CUSTARD TM to soaking wet hair in small sections. Smooth each section with fingers from root to tip.
My Experience:I've used this product before in the past and I've always had great results. It gave me great curl definition and gives my hair a great shine to it. However, it did not elongate my curls. Of course when I first applied the product to soaking wet hair my curls did hang. Although, after my hair was fully dried there was some major shrinkage. I didn't mind at all, I loved the way my hair looked. I guess if I had used a blow dryer to stretch my curls that would have helped with the length.
